The Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth, Texas. It has over 3 million lights. With 150 new displays, it is sure to be captivating for the whole family. There are many things to do at the speedway from seeing Santa to riding a mini train, it is sure to be a memory to last a lifetime. Beginning Thanksgiving Day through Dec. 30, from 6 pm-10 pm people can enjoy the two-mile drive of light displays throughout the speedway.
The display will be open every day during those dates, including Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, from 6-10 p.m.This year’s light show is bigger and better than ever. During the drive you will enjoy more than 150 new light displays and more than a million more LED lights than last year, bringing the total of LED lights to three million. featured this year is the ability to purchase 3-D glasses at the entrance to enhance your viewing pleasure of the Gift of Lights. The glasses, available in snowflake or reindeer style, are $3 each or two for $5.Santa's Village returns to the speedway infield, where cars will be directed at the conclusion of their trip through the Gift of Lights.
The 22,000-square-foot village will feature the opportunity to get a photo with Santa Claus through Dec. 24, dance with Olaf from Frozen, take a ride on a miniature train, make your own ornament. Guests also will have the opportunity to purchase Light-Up keepsake ornaments for the charity of their choice at Santa’s Village. Tickets will be available at the gate for $25 per vehicle or $20 if guests bring a new, unwrapped toy for Toys for Tots.
